Description

Monkfish is a Mediterranean white fish with a flattened body, rough skin, and no scales, which can reach up to two metres long. It differs from black monkfish because of the bright colour of its skin. Monkfish tail has a firm and consistent texture and is considered a staple of traditional Catalan cuisine. It can be steamed, baked, coated in flour and fried, or served with sauce.
